My mother rencety had total thyroidectomy and she got diagonosed with Anaplastic Thyroid cancer. Every where I read that it typically requires a very aggressive treatment plan with surgery, radiation and sometimes even chemotherapy.

I am trying to find for any other possible alternative treatment options like Naturopathy / Homeopathy / Ayurvedic etc.

So on the back of my neck there is this sorta brown patch thing on it. Before I thought it was just a rash a usually get, so I would scratch it all the time it bothered me. The itching has subdue, but the patch is still there and it worries me ALOT!! I'm not an active person and I used to never be out in the sun, but since the soccer season has started at my school, I've been practicing outside since the 12th of March. But the thing is, that is has just recently started getting sunny and warmer here in Michigan. I always have short sleeves shirts on and I never wear tank tops to practice. So is it cancer or it it just a rash mark?

It seems that more and more people are being diagnosed with cancer.

Just this week, John Edward's wife and Tony Snow have been diagnosed with recurrent TERMINAL cancer.

What about Dana Reeves? Lung cancer and she never smoked!

My mother was 45 when she died of breast cancer and she HAD NO RISK FACTORS according to the doctor's at that time.

I don't trust the medical profession, I think they're mostly just guessing...all those tests and the chemotherapy...and all the junk in the food and all around us.

I couldn't help but wonder if John Edward's wife (I'm sorry I can't remember her name) might not have had fertility pills to have their two younger children and that that might have caused her cancer.

It's scary to me that we seem to be in the midst of an epidemic and nobody knows what's going on.

About 1.5 years ago my friend found a cyst about 1.5 cm in diameter on his left upper back.

He got it surgically removed in the last quarter of '06. The doctors said it was benign.

Now, the cyst has come back again, in the exact same spot, growing below the scar where it was previously removed.

Does anyone know why? And is this something my friend should be worried about?

He is 32 this year. His mother died of breast cancer a few years ago. I have advised him to get the regrowth of the cyst checked out again but he is unwilling as he said the doctors told him that it is "unlikely to be cancer".

The news about Tony Snow is so sad! He has young kids and now his cancer is spread to his liver! My grandmother died of colon cancer that spread to her liver, I don't want to also.

My sister-n-law has just been told she has breast cancer & it has gone too far for surgery. Can someone please help me give her & her family some glimmer of hope. I lost my husband to cancer 4 yrs. ago, & lost my mom last year to alzheimers, I'm not ready to loose someone else close right now. I wish I could fight it instead of her, maybe I would see my husband sooner. I know I shouldn't think that way, but she is a very much loved person & would be missed DEARLY. My brother just retired because of bad health problems & now, unless someone can give us some hope, he will not grow old with his wife of 46 yrs. God Bless all who can help!
