Pet Scans are usually the best. (and I don't mean for an animal) MRI's are also great. I am an MRI Tech and we see tumors all the time. It depends on what area of the body you are having trouble with. If you were having headaches, blurred vision, ringing in the ears, memory problems, speech problems, well any of them, we would scan your brain. If you had trouble with you GI tract we would scan your abdomen.

CT is also good, but more for bone type cancer.

Fatigue is not the primary symtom of cancer -its often not even a secondary one.
As someone with a behavioral background, I would have to first look at the quality of your sleep. If you wake up and you are not refreshed, thats where you look first. Talk to your doctor about it.
