Absolutely yes.! The procedure now is not uncomfortable. You get a little relaxer, then wake up all done. The relief you will feel is palpable..Any polyps can be removed at that time..Polyps can turn into cancer and invade the bowel's walls. It usually takes several years..Katie Couric's husband died at 42, but found it at 39. So age isn't necessarily the factor, but genetics is. Your gramma can be your lifesaver.OH! the worst and best part is the preparation. The drink & amount hard but boy do you feel thin & cleaned out! Have it Brenda and good luck ! THIS CANCER CAN BE PREVENTED!!

I get one every three years. Colon cancer is very easy to treat if caught in time. Very deadly ( sadly ) if not. I was impressed by Katie Couric getting one live on TV, to show the importance of having them ( her husband died at a young age from colon cancer ).

Been there done that. The procedure isn't so bad, but I really didn't like the preparation. The standard for such a procedure is reaching age 50. If there is a history of cancer in your family it would be a good idea to get one sooner. Your doctor will know best.

Yes, and I have had one. Problem with cancer is it sneaks up on you. You can have all kinds of tests only to find it snuck in between tests. If you can afford it, do it. It definitely helps to maintain yourself and try to protect yourself.
