My friend's dad used to give us an aspirin before we went out in the sun to prevent sunburns. He said it had to do with aspirin preventing platelets to stick together which I know is true, but I don't know what that would have to do with preventing a sunburn.

I have quite severe IBS and this causes agrophobia, anxiety and panic attacks. I have tried altering my diet and using medication but none of them have much effect. This condition is ruining my life and making me very depressed.
I would like to try acupuncture but am abit scared and nervous. Does anyone know if acupuncture is an effective treatment for IBS and is it worth taking the chance?
