Video & Online Games - January 2007

Anyone remember an old game - I remember it in arcades but was hoping to find in a pc form. It was like tetris where you had to build castle walls and protect them from ships and guys that would start bombing it. Your castle wall pieces would come down as different shaped pieces (like tetris) and you had to fit them around your castle to protect it.

Real Media wants $12.99 per month to play these videos for a course that I am taking. I have the DVDs, so it's not worth paying 4 months for the same thing. However, the same lectures are online, and it would be nice to play these videos on my computer from the online source in addition to my DVD.

Is there a free or cheaper altenative for playing the online .rm files?

I am working on my green belt, and I know that when you go through the tunnels your sopposed to turn right, than click on the rock on the wall... well i do that but no secret chamber open, clicking on the rock just refreshes the page.. .why is this happening??

Well, my b'days comin up and because I got a straight A in almost all the subjects for last semester's exams, I get to choose one of the three new consoles- a PS3, a Wii or an XBOX360.

The PS3 looks cool and streamlined, but with its power brick housed inside, it may be a weight to bring it over to a friend's for a game or two... and the 60GB price is going down, with another controller thrown in , too.

The XBOX360 is cool too, but with an overstocking of Dead Or Alive Xtreme 2 (DOAX2) it may be hard to snatch Call of Duty 3 in Malaysia...

The Wii is cute with the Wiimote and NunChuck thingy, but its white colour is a natural magnet for stains and may look dirty over time...

So, which do you think I should choose? Nothing good has nothing wrong. I want the one thats worth it, more mondo coolio games, and less faults.

Please help me, Im dying to get a console, but I just need your opinion.

I went to Modthesims2.com and downloaded a bunch of junk(over 100+ downloads) and now I got a virus(got rid of it) and when I start my game it stays at "replacing wheel bearings" for a long time! When I press ctrl alt delete simultaneously, it crashes the game.

How can I uninstall some of the junk? Or other suggestions?

I used Q-Express Installer latest version.

Now is this true? Unlock Brand Manager and if yes then why when you put in the code for Unlock Non Playable People you don't get Bischoff or Heymen?
Beat general manager mode five times on either brand and you will unlock that brands manager. For SmackDown!, that's Teddy Long.

For RAW, you get Vince McMahon. You have to do it five extra times on RAW to unlock Bischoff. Once you've unlocked all three, you'll also unlock ECW general manager, Paul Heyman.

I saw this guy do a glitch where he shot the floor with a battle rifle then when he ran forward he died I was wondering how to do that glitch any of u guys know how to do it. I am wanting to see if anyone can help me with finding out the necessary codecs for burning the original game disc to a playable DVD so as where My husband and I can save his orig. games to keep them from getting any more scratched up than they are? Please help us with problem. Where can we find the codecs for the DVD burner that we have? ( Generic Brand Burner/Player ).

okay...here goes, i just recently got Quake 4 for the 360, and it came with a bonus disk that had behind the scenes stuff, but the reason i wanted to watch the bonus disk is b/c it was supposed to have the full version of Quake 2 which you could play....but everytime i hit play game on the bonus disk it just showed me gameplay of Quake 2...WTF!!! are u supposed to have internet to play Quake 2 or what??? thanks

How did you like the game? Are the Graphics better? What can be unlocked? What are some of the new characters? Are the Season Mode better and does it have more of a story line?

I have the other Smackdown Vs. Raw games and enjoy them. I have heard that the new one is supposed to be a lot better than the others. I wanted some people who have played the game to give me some feedback. I am thinking of buying it and I don't want to waste money on a game that is not worth it. I have done that before. Thanks for your imput.

i want to become a game designer in my upcomming future .i am passionate about games. what are the steps i need to take to become it . i am currently studying in 11th science. what are the cources i need to do now and should i join video game college directly after my 12th or i need to study for a degree first . please if possible try to show me a tree diagram of the cources from my jr college upto the degree. i am currently 16 yrs old with expert computer skills i know computer is must for video game designer.
