Which is better do you think in the Next-Gen Consoles? Wii PS3 360?

Question

Well, my b'days comin up and because I got a straight A in almost all the subjects for last semester's exams, I get to choose one of the three new consoles- a PS3, a Wii or an XBOX360.

The PS3 looks cool and streamlined, but with its power brick housed inside, it may be a weight to bring it over to a friend's for a game or two... and the 60GB price is going down, with another controller thrown in , too.

The XBOX360 is cool too, but with an overstocking of Dead Or Alive Xtreme 2 (DOAX2) it may be hard to snatch Call of Duty 3 in Malaysia...

The Wii is cute with the Wiimote and NunChuck thingy, but its white colour is a natural magnet for stains and may look dirty over time...

So, which do you think I should choose? Nothing good has nothing wrong. I want the one thats worth it, more mondo coolio games, and less faults.

Please help me, Im dying to get a console, but I just need your opinion.

Well, for starters the PS3 is oviously the most powerful of the consoles, but because of it's large price tag, it will lose the console war unless it drops it's price tag.

The 360 has a good chance, because it is less expensive and the online play is the best in my opinion; you may have to pay; but it's worth it. They also have the exclusive games everyone wants like Halo and Gears of War.

The Wii also has a very good chance because it is the cheapest and appeals to everyone. I have gotten everyone to play it, My Grandparents might even get one! My whole family loves it. It's games appeal to kids with the mario parties and stuff like that, and appeals to the adults with games like Trauma center and such.

I personally have an Xbox 360 and a Wii; and I think they have the best chances of winning the console war, mainly because the PS3 is so expensive. It's a shame that great piece of hardware like that isn't going to be enjoyed by a lot of people solely because it cost so much.

PS3 Is Indeed A Powerhouse Of A System, BUT There Are Still Bugs And Glitches In It As With ANY New Console. I Would Wait At Least A Year Before I Would Touch It.

The Wii Is Great As It Has Revolutionized The Way You Interact With The Game Itself. The Control Scheme Is Awesome, The Graphics Are Pretty Sharp, And The Ability To Download EVERY Past Game From The NES, SNES, and N64 Makes It A Prominent Choice In The 3. But I Have Been Hearing Stories About People Hurting Themselves Swinging The Controller Around. Yeah Getting Up And Jumping Around For A Game Is Great And All, But Only Sometimes Not ALL The Time.

The XBOX 360 Would Be The Definite Winner Here. The Graphics Are Great, The Downloadable Content Is A Bonus, The Games Are Solid, The System Itself Has A Strong Foothold Already In The Industry. I Personally Own One And I Must Say It Is The Best Choice Of Console I Have Ever Made( Other Than My PS2 ) The Online Play Is EXCELLENT! The Only Downfall Is That Not Every Original XBOX Game Is Backward Compatible. BUT That Was Never An Issue For Me Personally Because I Never Owned One.

Get the 360. The Wii is simply about trying to do something different. Sure they have a new way of doing thing but that doesn't mean it will catch on. Also you mention wanting Call of Duty 3. Well that basically eliminates the Wii. You may say that it is still on the Wii, but from what I read it is a piece of crap on the Wii. Look most of the games that go on PS3 will be in the Xbox360 as well. The Wii proably won't have many more exclusive games then each of the other system. Most of the "exclusives" they have will be from the way the system is made. The best games will still be on the 360 and PS3 when you go by the majority.

the new x720 is in the next years E3 and i guess by 2013 Q4 itll be out so waiting a year is a challenge or buy a x360 but the cost will go drastically down when u want to sell it or as some ppl propesed a high quality gaming pc will help u for 5 years but most powerfull pc cost 1 or 2 k ps3 there isnt a havk for it if u do buy it all the new game will ask u to update and that will kill ur hack and no games will work while wii is easy to hack but buying it will be a lose of money bcz wiiu is coming out in 3 months my opinion would be an x 360 cheap,not so hard to hack,there are games from now till the next 2 years but disadvantage of having an x isnt that it over heats its that theres a monthly subscription

I would totally go with either the PS3 or the XBox370 (personally my preference would be the PS3 because i like playstation better generally, i hate the XBox controllers). I have a wii and i can say that it's the best thing that's ever happened to me (sad, i know), but seeing as it's your b-day and I'm assuming somebody else will be buying your birthday present i wouldn't chose the wii because it's inexpensive and you could easily get it yourself, go the ps3 (if you can find one). ... although, i am one of those people who would have all three consoles, if you're not, go the wii, it's for hardcore gamers and people who have never played video games before.

i would say get the xbox 360 but only if you have a hd tv cause the graphics are amazing


the wii is also cool if you want to interact with the game..(but you do get sore after playing it)


ps3 is like the 360 to me so..............



i played madden 07 on all of these consals in 1 day and i think that the 360 is the best!

well my boyfriend and i have the 360 and the Wii. we like both. The wii is really awsome though, it comes with wii sports, there are tons of cool games that come with it. you can also buy wii points which let you go into the wii store and buy games that way. it has a regular wiimote(nintento 64 remote).and the wiimote's come with covers to put over them. i have a pink one and my boyfriend has a black one that way they arent plain white. the sensitivity is awsome. there is a lot of really cool stuff that comes with it. i think that you will really like the wii. the 360 is awsome to play games on and really cool too. have fun with which ever you choose

I suppose it depends on what kind of gaming you do. Personally Zelda for the wii has me saying that the wii is the winner, but it depends. the ps3 is real powerful, and the xbox360 has my vote for most games.
but wii is also the cheapest!

i would go with the xbox 360 just because the ps3 is so expensive and the wii seems a little difficult to use and the graffics arn't as good. i am probobly going to get an xbox 360 sometime soon the graffics on the 360 are awsome

I would say that it's the PS3. Simply because of the 60GB, as well as the possibility that in the future, it will be an entire entertainment center in itself.
