My sister's elementary school is having a fall carnival and I am making the signs. To avoid any relations with Halloween the carnival is story book character theme. Some examples are- Hansel & Gretel's cookie trail (cookie walk) Goofy's Golf, Reading Rainbow Book walk, & Princess Lolly's (Candy Land) Lolly Pop Pull. I need a character for glow necklaces (not really sure what kind of game it is), ring toss (throw a ring over a soda and get the soda), & the hay ride. I would prefer that the character related some what to the game. ALL suggestions welcome! Please Help

1-go out of town
2- hang out with my friends (because they are all out of town!)

I know I sound like a wuss lol, which I probably am. My friends have all played the resident evil games, and i have most of them from my brothers and whatnot. But whenever I put the disc in the machine and turn it on I get too freaked out lol. I do have quite an overactive imagination so I think about how scary it is too much when it probably actually isn't, and I have obsessive compulsive disorder which doesn't really help as you can guess :) Any tips/anything will be great. thanks.

My children currently go to a private elementary school in Germany (my husband works for the US Army). The playground at the school has over 40 concrete bricks for the kids to build with. Myself and several other parents want them removed from the playground because they are dangerous. The school is fighting us and argues that the bricks encourage creative play. I can find nothing on the internet about bricks causing a hazard or anything about head trauma. Does anyone have any suggestions?
