Go the the local park if you have one and feed the ducks. Or go to a nursing home and talk the the oldest person there who has their mind and can tell you story's about their lives before the home. That way you brighten someones day and learn something at the same time. Or Volunteer at a hospital holding babies, there are ones that will allow that. When you find that if you are willing to give of yourself, your life becomes more rich you have learned a valuable lesson.

Read... get books from the library... listen to music or take up a cheap hobby... I don't know if you're male or female from your question, but have you ever thought of volunteering your time at school, soup kitchen or church organization? This is very rewarding.
