In america nowadays, people love to do things as a passtime, if it's playing cards or rolling dice or just eating a good meal, a casino provides all these benefits, it also provides great jobs and meeting people, and supposedly it makes money for the government so taxes can stay the same and not go up or go up as fast as they would without the casino in town, but i think the cost is the guy or gal that never had a gambling problem developing a gambling problem, gambling is an ugly monster related to bad drugs and bad sex....i really think it's a three headed monster that kills most people that are not aware of the dangers these things can do to people, i've been to atlantic city 2 years ago and saw a homeless man ranting how all the drugs, sex, gambling.....ruined his whole entire life, he's an old man now with no family and no love from others, why can't our government help those kind of people out more, cause aa and ga and sex addicts really ain't helping, a church seems ok to me

Hi,

I think it's ace but I wonder these:

1. Is ace the one with #1 on it (so shape doesn't matter)?

2. If it's a tie, is it still ace that is highest?

3. What if we both have aces in the tie, which shape would be higher (hearts, etc)

4. What are these shapes called (I only know hearts)?

Thanks!

If you were at a casino and wanted to win ONE bet and you had four times to bet it to win one, which game would you play

1. Blackjack 10, 25, 50, 100
2. Craps (pass line) 10, 25, 50, 100
3. Roulette (black) 10, 25, 50, 100
4. Big 6 (1 to 1) 10, 25, 50, 100

All these games seem like 50/50 odds but which game would you play if you had 185 dollars and just wanted to win one bet without losing 4 bets in a row

Please tell me how a "european" lottery can have different playing options?? In england ,,all we can do is simply buy a ticket with the option of choosing 5numbers and 2 stars....but here in france I can start there, then I can opt to choose from the following:
All the stars and five numbers,All the stars and six numbers, etc etc..until I reach 10 numbers(all of which count...5 out these 10 would win the jackpot!!) These stakes of course cost up to 250 euros..but the cost is not the issue ....every participating country should have the same options to make it fair, after all- the payouts are equal? I wonder if in one of the countries you could play 30,40,50 numbers?? Let me know what u think out there. PS: I don't expect an answer from camelot...but if they do I will give them best answer!!

Stats would be great if it weren't for the numerous gambling senarios! We spend a lot of time on race odds, casino games, and made up street games (spinner, dice, etc). I don't understand how these things work; thus on the tests I bomb big time. The only card game I've ever played is go fish; gambling is a major sin where I come from (different era).

Anyone know about these things or have a good site so that I can learn about wagering? My prof is getting annoyed with my questions and I'm sick of being the class dunce!

In blackjack, if dealer is showing a 10 and I get to a 16 count after drawing a third card (say, I have 7, 5, 4 now), is it generally better to hit or stay?

I have already tried partybingo.com and partypoker.com but those two sites say that you cant play for real money if you are living in the United States. I used to know someone from a previous job I had, that made about 500 bucks a week doing his favorite thing,,,,playing poker online for real money. Problem is I cant find a site that does that.
