I live in the U.S. and want to spend a little money on poker. Are there third parties that will accept U.S. accounts? Is it legal? Is it safe?

There are quite a few online poker sites that not only accept US players but go out of their way to attract them. Some do's and don'ts can be found at

it is COMPLEYELY ILLEGAL>however the law is not really enforced. And it can be a bit of a hassle to get your money out.I have been playing online for 7 years and i will tell you to stay with a very well known site like pokerstars or fulltilt and you will have no problems. However cheating is widespread as i have plyed partners many times so be careful.
