you have NOT and WILL NOT EVER win any lottery to which you did not BUY A TICKET. This is a SCAM meant to trick you into sending "fees, taxes, insurance" etc. There is NO money waiting for you and if you send any, you will NEVER see it back. There are no winnings to collect. If you received an e-mail saying that you won a lottery, it is a scam. Don't reply, don't send them any information, and don't send them any money, even if they say they need a "processing fee to release your winnings." They are AFTER your money, not looking to give you money!
The best policy for e-mails like those is "delete it and forget it."
