i've been playing hold 'em for a long time, and yet i'm not sure on one thing: the only thing u need to noe about kickers is that u need to beat the table's highest card (and ur opponent's) to avoid split pot and win, yes? is there anything else? examples and website citations would be nice^^

I know that 18 year olds aren't allowed to go on the floor at like Foxwoods only because we're not allowed to drink yet. It's not that the gambling age is 21. Its that anybody gets free drinks on the floor.

Um, I know at the Turning Stone in New York, they do not offer drinks on the floor.. therefore you're allowed to go at 18.

I'm wondering if there is anywhere else in the Northeast that
you can gamble at 18.. ?

I have been on FullTiltPoker.com and have been frozen out of play in a big tourney where I could not play because I could not click on any buttons on the site and they would not work . I have also had a problem where I am kicked off the site and could not get on unless I shutdown and rebooted.

What would you do if you found a $2.00 scratch ticket that hasn't been scratched off? Would you see if it was a winner, throw it away or give it to someone who you think would need the money more than you?

Dont you think that 5 or more million dollars is far too much for an average person to require for their life. Many people cannot adjust to this lifestyle and in some cases end up broke or even dead after a few short years.
They say winning a jackpot odd is similar to this. You go to a major city like NY and call a friend and not knowing his number, dial a number at random and they answer the phone. That gives a good idea how freaky the odds of winning really are. Dont waste more $ than a single ticket

Were any of the poker players in Casino Royale legitimate professionals in cameo roles? Some of the ppl looked vaguely familiar, but maybe I was imagining it.
Don't watch that much Poker on TV, but a little bit.
Did you recognize any cameos in the movie?

I have recived an e-mail saying that I have won the Yahoo lottery in the UK. It is very elaborate on how they pick thier winners and then ask for information in order for you to claim your prize. But then it says not to tell anyone until you recieve your money. Is this for real or is it just another scam?
