I have been on FullTiltPoker.com and have been frozen out of play in a big tourney where I could not play because I could not click on any buttons on the site and they would not work . I have also had a problem where I am kicked off the site and could not get on unless I shutdown and rebooted.

The only way I could think of to do this is some kind of DoS attack and for that you would need to know a persons IP address.
I find it hard to believe that someone just seeing your user name could figure out who you are and how to boot you offline or otherwise hurt you.
