I mean not the Traditional stuff that you would think of, in my case it is K/6 off suite, I say off suite cause I can never catch a bloody Flush on Runner Runner but I see so many others do it!

What is yours...

I was playing the "Alien" slot machine for a penny. I started with $10.00 and got it up to $38.00. This took about two hours. I was never able to get it up to $40+. That was my goal....

I ended up playing it for more money....and then lost it all. I feel that I maxed it out at $38. I should have moved on and played another machine.

Have you encountered this? What is your strategy for slots?

I was interested in getting into sports arbitrage, so does anyone know the tax laws for that in Canada and the USA? Is there a limit on how much one can make or be taxed on? I'm reading some of the information from pokertips.org, and the information about suited connectors is contradictory. In the same article, it says that suited connectors are the 2nd strongest hand to get other than pocket pairs, but in the same article, it critisizes KQ suited, QJ suited and J10 suited as weak. So which is it? ("good" meaning you can bet into it pre-flop, "bad" meaning only for bluffing or check-folding.)

My husband is new to texas holdem. He started playing and seems addicted to the game. It didn't seem like a problem at first because he didn't play for real money. Anyways, he discovered a site that lets you gamble for real money online. We each made an account and played for what I thought was fun. Now he is putting money on his account without talking to me about it and has lost around $500 that we didn't have to lose. I don't know what to do. He's real upset about losing the money but refuses to quit playing. Please give me some kind of suggestions or help on what to do.

Let me tell you mine last night i lost $195 on a single hand here is how. I had pocket 7's so i bet a little and had some callers. The flop comes out 7h,7s,2d. So now i have four of a kind so this other player bets big like $50 so i was like screw it "I am all in" for $195 (cash, not tournament money)he called with pocket Queens he told me oh I thought you were playing the 2. Well out comes the turn and the river and wouldnt you know it he hit queen, queen. Meaning his 4 queens beat my 4 7's. But I look back and honestly if I was put in that situation again I wouldn't change a thing. So what is the most money you lost on a single hand and what did you lose with/to?
