I'm very familiar playing NL SnGs and Tournament on Pokerstars. I'm going to Vegas soon and want to sample the poker. I'll play in some SnGs and Tourneys, but thinking of giving some spread limit games a try. So my question is, what does that mean? SB is 2 and BB is 4? 4 is the max bet pre flop, flop, turn and river? What kind of bankroll should I bring to play those games looking at 1-2, 2-4,3-6 ?

Just before Christmas I received an Email from the National Lottery. Stating that my email address has been given a lottery ticket and it had been picked as a winning ticket. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? No, neither can I. My winning prize was in fact £250,000 and all I had to do was contact the claims department by email! Easy I hear you say! Well I havent heard a dicky bird since. has anyone else had this. THEY ARE SICK INDIVIDUALS obviously I havent won a sausage, but I could have been niave and gone out spending what I thought I was gong to receive. I am so mad!

I know the popular wisdom concerning Omaha 8b fixed limit is that it is - for the studious, capable player - a steady earner and doesn't have the swings and roundabouts of hold'em that seem to entail the rake taking a larger chunk out of your earnings that one might like. (takes breath).

What is the popular wisdom concerning the pot limit variety in this regard?

Also - since most if not all literature concerning Omaha 8b pertains to fixed limit - what modifications do I need to make to my: a) starting hand selections and b) card play post flop when playing pot limit. If anybody could recommend a good site that deals with this matter, I would be very grateful.

You were on your way to the store to play the lottery, and a friend asked you to play his/her lottery number for them while you were out. The friend asked you to pay for the ticket and he/she would give you the money when you returned. Before you returned with their ticket you found out their number won for $2.5 million. Would you give them the winning ticket even though they never gave you the money to pay for it?

When the lottery first started I am sure there was a simple statement that could be drawn up between collegues to detail the rules of the lottery syndicate, payments ect.

We've had an increasingly obnoxious person who kind of barged his way into our weekly friendly hold 'em game putting everybody on edge. Now, we're pretty nice guys, so short of tellling (him)
to get the &*$# out, what's a discreet way of saying his play is no longer welcome?
