First - get a good book - Sklansky would be a good start. I would also recommend checking out an online poker calculator such as Poker Pro calculator - it auto connects to your table and gives all of kind odds and stats as you play. It also analyzes your opponents as you play in real time. Finally - practice, practice and practice.

Read books and if your online poker site has a forum then get involved and ask questions there. I play on Full Tilt and I am in the forum almost every day and learn something new every day by reading others posts and asking questions. The more you play and learn all of the ins and outs of the game the better you will be. There are a lot of new people that play just because it is the fad of the times right now that don't know how to play and don't really take the time to learn the game. If you want to get better then you just need to put a little bit of time into it.

That's a very loose question, but which part of your game do think is "weak"?, when did you start play poker?, how many hours a week?, which stacks?, what is your average win/lose?, which type of poker are you playing?.......

I play poker for a living and help each week beginners and average players, to improve their game.

Feel free to contact on my site, for specific strategy and advice.

Take care
