I have:
The Sims 2
The Sims 2 Nightlife
The Sims 2 Happy Holiday 'Stuff'
The Sims 2 Celebration 'Stuff'

Every time I play I use the Celebration CD, because apparently I have to.
So, when I go to "create a family," my sim does not show up... I can see that menu bar on the right where you pick clothes and stuff, but not my sim!!!

So my question is, where did she go on "www.thesims2.com" that helped her? I can't find anywhere where it tells me what I have to do...

Her DS Lite has wifi and Pictochat. I have wifi on my laptop (and also internet via broadband) Can I get pictochat on my laptop so we can send notes back and forth? Thanks :)

I need an easy to read book or website, with instructions for some basic stitches, to create small pieces of costuming.

I need something like chainmail, but it doesnt need to be stiff, or from wire (they take a long time to make). I am hoping to create something similiar with metallic yarn and possibly very small guage wire, with easy to create stitches.

Any help is appreciated.

That pretty much says it all, but yea. My dog has become pregnant, like a day ago (sim time) and hasn't had her puppies yet. When will she?

i got a 360 for christmas and me and my brother got madden/ncaa 07 and he got eragon, my dad rented MOH Airborne, Madden 08, and Halo 3. i was able to try it out early and on madden the stadium is screwed up, like sumtimes theres objects with huge spikes shooting out towards the sky, and ppl are flying around, and theres red blotches all over and sumtimes the players are nuthing but spikes. NCAA is the same way and then i finally played a game and the players and stadium were fine, then at the end, when the game hit :00 it said 'disk is unreadable' and it shut off. Eragon works perfectly, Madden 08 would go to the start up screen and when i hit start it locks up on the pick ur favorite team part. Halo 3 worked perfectly then we took it out, played sumthin else, now it wont even start. and medal of honor has the ppl as spikes and locks up after the jump training.. what should we do?? my dad said his friends games worked fine also..

I asked a question a few days ago about a pattern and the best answerer replied "...knit into the front and the back legs of the next stitch, work 12 more stitches in pattern, knit into the next stitch front and back (this is the simplest increase), and then work the next 12 stitches and knit front and back into the last stitch. You should now have 42 stitches."

Now, does the edge stitch not count when casting on? I've always noticed that when turning my work after casting on, the first knit stitch does not want to transfer over. Also, what does "knit into the next stitch front and back" mean?

I just received this as a gift for Christmas. I was told that it was very expensive and gave the impression of wealth in Africa. We had a forty dollar limit on our gifts but i am not sure if that is what this is worth. Please tell me if this has any value or if it is just a " regift".

Alright, to put it simply, I got alot of giftcards for bestbuy, I want to buy 2 games, one for the Wii, and one for the 360.

I have no games for the wii except zelda, because well...the system just isn't that fun to me yet.

For the 360 I have both guitar heros, rainbow six, oblivion, and marvel alliance (co-op game for parties) and halo 3.

That being said, I'm 18. I'm partial to RPG's and the like, but also a very big fan of First person shooters.
For the wii, I know my choices are limited for the wii, but I want to avoid real-little kid games if you know what I mean.
