I was using those old games even before on the same gameboy but now its not working. It either hang or it will just show the nintendo name when you open it.

I was using those old games even before on the same gameboy but now its not working. It either hang or it will just show the nintendo name when you open it.

I owned it for more than a year now.

that's just cause of the oxidation on the chip connector

in other words, clean the game. i unscrew them, take out the chip, and use a compound to clean off the chip, followed by cleaning with rubbing alcohol.

makes games work like new! (assuming the battery still works, for saving)

How long have you owned that game? If its more than 5years, maybe it has gone wrong by its oldness.
