My Sims stories will not work on my computer it is a old computer and does not have a dvd drive.. any answers?

If the game requires a DVD drive to play it, there's no other workaround, you'll need to, at the bare minimum, upgrade to a DVD drive. Depending on how old your computer is, you may need a new computer as well.
