I found the kit online,...Electric 35mph...the thing is this Kit-lamborghini pre painted is only $149...I'm wondering if this is a scam or fake website. Because I searched for other kits-yokomo, tamiya...they're at least $300 and up for electric models.

it is a 1978 usa penny with very(very very) fine black stripes on the front side going over the top of the penny.Kind of hard to notice with naked eye, but when magnified the stripes are very prominate and very perfect(straight / parallel,...)I tried washing the stripes off several times, only made them more apperant. Any ideas? Could not find any explanation on any sites.

I have seen this asked a couple times, but I am going to be airbrushing/hand painting a blank skateboard deck. I am guessing sanding it down first would be good, but what about spraying primer? I thought about that, but I want to keep parts of the board showing its natural wood underneath.. And what paint will look the best and be easiest to use? My father suggested lacquer but can that be used with an airbrush?


And what kind of finish should I add to cover it in a clear finish coat? I dont want the paint to run or get ruined.


BTW, this board will not be used, it will be displayed, so basically I just want it to look its best rather than worrying about taking damage.

You what happen was I bought her one for her birthday and it was defective! She made the account and it wont let her sign on and ITS NOT her computer cuz it let her sign on mine! We tried to return it but the lady at the screamed at us "THERES SOMTHIN WRONG WITH HER COMPUTER I WILL NOT LET YOU RETURN IT!" So we are never goin there again!

I have a coopered wooden tankard that was my father's, split to the width of a nickle between two of the staves, that I'd *really* like repair. He got it in the 1950's-60's, possibly in Germany.

I've thought of filling the crack with a glued wedge and then recoating, but it has an unknown finish (shows yellowish in the thick bits on the mug bottom). In the "olden days," I believe pitch was used to seal wood–could I use pitch, coat the whole interior, and then polyurethane the heck out of it over top? Could I make some kind of watertight "insert" for it that won't look or taste bad? (If so, how? And out of what?)

I'm willing to spend a foolish amount of time and effort on this project - but in the end I want to USE my father’s tankard. I’m looking for any scrap of hope, foolish though it may be. R.

Ok so I need to make a bomb - not a real one just one for my movie. It need's to fit into a suitcase and have a counter on it that goes down like...3....2....1!
