Also, I don't know exactly what type of doll that is, but you might also want to have your daughter make her own dark-skinned dolls or other figures, large or small --or someone could make them for her. I once made my neice a 3' tall cocoa-skinned fabric doll with elastic under it shoes so she could "dance" with it, but there are all kinds and sizes of stuffed fabric dolls.

She could make dolls or figures out of all kinds of other things too though. If she might be interested in polymer clay (or an air-dry clay substitute), have her or her benefactor check out these pages for various types and sizes (ranging from very simple to more involved):
