I would like to take a PS2 from America to Pakistan as a gift. Will it work in Pakistan considering the voltage difference? I will also be buying games from here and not from Pakistan. Also, anything else I should consider before taking a PS2 there?

I have beaten Rayquaza, and now I have started to recruit legendaries. I have recruited Entei, Ho-Oh, Regirock, Regice, Latios, and Latias. I want to recruit the three birds- Articuno, Moltres, and Zapdos. I have gone to the peak 3 times, twice with Ho-Oh, and once as Latios, and they ARE NOT JOINING ME!!! WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?!?!?! Do I need their friend area, and if so, what is it and how do i get it? Any help will be appreciated~!
