I'm doing research. Can you all help? I can't find the answer anywhere....

Question: How old is the children's game "Simon Says"? When was it first played?

And who is Simon anyways... (this last question is just to satisfy my own personal curiosity)

I don't need an exact year count or date... just a general answer... like maybe the year, or even the decade. For example, did people play it in the 1940's? Or earlier?

If you don't know the answer for the above questions, can you tell me how many years ago it was that you first played the game. (Like for me, I think I played it for the first time some 24 years ago.)

I just bought circular knitting needles and I honestly thought the concept of using them would be simple but its not. How do you get your stitches to actually go in the ROUND..like if you were to knit a skirt with no seams. And also, how do you purl? when I tried to purl it came out the same was as the knitting. it would have bumps on both sides of the work and the little v's on both sides and that's not right.
