Games & Recreation - 30 December 2006

I got my Nintendo DS Lite about three months ago and I only have three games. They are Super Mario 64 DS, Metroid Prime Hunters, and Final Fantasy III (the remake). In my opinion, only Final Fantasy III is great and Metroid Prime Hunters is OK. Does anybody have any recommendations of other games worth buying?

I was mooching through my local video game store, and about the last 9/10 times, I've walked out with nothing...

Thats not to say I had no money... I just didn't see anything that seemed very playable...

So, I suppose the question is...

Am I just starting to grow out of it all (I do still enjoy bf2142 though)

Have game makers forgotton what makes a truly memorable video?

Has the younger generation with its total reliance and review on game 'graphics' made that all new games should be very very pretty, but with very little substance...

Is there hope for us who maybe play games because they're an enjoyable distraction from time to time?

I am looking for the C&A Palomino horse ride that was in C&A stores in the UK and I believe in overseas C&A stores. In the UK the ride used to be 10p per go and the horse went faster when you pulled on the reigns. Who manufactured the horse or hired it to the C&A stores. Where are they now and where could I buy one or see a photo or web link? I think it was also in the background in the film Big at the fairground with Tom Hanks. Please help me find one.
