how do i register my seconed wiimote to play 2 player

In wii sports when you enter a game press more where there is wii remotes and press 1 and 2 at the same time and it will pop up and then you have two player. And on other hand no one is anwsering your anwser because it says register it should be like how do i activate my second wii remote to play 2 players. in other games read the instruction booklet!
