My husband wants an XBox 360 really bad...We have an XBox now (actually 2 of them- He just HAD to have the Halo special edition green one when it came out)

But I'm just wondering are they really worth $300? or should I TRY to convince him to wait until they lower the price some?

Don't bother suggesting the PS3 because he wants the XBox 360.
(And I don't really like Playstations either)

he is good at the game, and i think it would be a fun pastime for us to enjoy together. we have tried playing together several times, including for a few weeks in a club, and i have a bridge computer and books. i admit i have not really made any progress, but i tend to forget stuff i don't practise regularly. i am not sure whether 2 people playing on different levels could ever enjoy playing together (i enjoy playing with him, but he gets very frustrated with me). or whether after maybe 6 months or whatever of regular play then i would be good enough not to frustrate him?
