If its a weekly game have a bad beat jackpot or a high hand jackpot. Lets say your buy in is $50 add another 2 or three bucks per person each week. The extra 3 bucks should grow somewhat rapidly and carry over from week to week. You could have the bad beet win 50% of the pot and high hand win 50%. A bad beat jackpot might be no less than 4 of a kind losing to a higher hand. In order to win the high hand you might make it straight flush or better.

Here's how my games work:

Each person pays an "entry fee."

Each person gets 50 chips per round.

Blinds double every trip around the table.

Each round lasts until everyone is eliminated.

Each person gets points depending on how they ranked that round. (ie. last person out gets 5 points, next person gets 4 and so on)

After 4-5 rounds, the people with the most points divide the "entry fee". 50% for 1st, 30% for 2nd, and 20% for 3rd.

I have a whole section of the Church of Texas Holdem dedicated to running your own games. Check out Local Parish! There are links to equipment suppliers too, if you need stuff.
