pasta.. is it really that bad?

well iv heard such bad things about eating pasta, "ooo theres too many carbs" and the thing is, I like to look after my body and i try to eat healthy but im a vegetarian and eating pasta is a big part of my diet. I read the back and it says per 100g that the carbs that sugar is only 2g. is this bad? and is pasta really that bad. and also is Bread that bad because ive been eating one that has carbs that sugars of about 1g. I was wondering? is it all just taken too far or is it genurally bad for me? is there any subsititutes?

Is it ok to put pots n pans in the fridge?

after cooking soup, 4 example, can u put pot in fridge till next day then put back on stove to heat up or will some weird metallic fumes magnify from cold infect the food and kill me
