Beer, Wine & Spirits - November 2007

in the past 2 months I've had 2 bottles of rum & a bottle of seagram's turn to slush after having used them for a few days. Obviously, I keep my liquor in the freezer, and after a couple of days (maybe 6-8 drinks made) there has been quite a bit of ice (almost slush) form in the bottles.There's nobody in my house that would be able to put water in them except for my husband (but he drinks out of them also, so why would he?). With the 1st bottle this happened to after 2 or 3 days of being slush it all the sudden "defrosted" & was normal again...Can your freezer get cold enough to freeze 80 proof alcohol? I know this sounds like a stupid question, but in my 13 or so years of drinking I've only had alcohol freeze 1 time after my little sis drank some & then refilled with water.

How can you be an adult and minor at the same time?
Say your 18 and you get aressted for "minor consuming" then they put you in jail and try you as an adult becuse your 18? how does this make any sence???? What they are saying is that your a minor when they want you to be and your an adult when they want you to be? isent it an blatent infringment of our rights? i understand its the law but what kind of sick law is that?

Every friday night i have a bottle of wine or maybe 1 and 1/2 but no more. The next day i have trouble trying remember things, my recall is terrible. I can't remember names and my conversation at work takes a nose dive and i feel everybody is aware i am struggling. One of my colleagues even commented, saying "i was a bit slow", which really hurt. But i suppose i come accross like that. How are you after a drink, is it just me do i need help is it an age thing i am 59 years old.!!!!

Is there a way to calculate the % of alcohol in body with respect to the amount of alcohol which is being consumed?

I mean lets say someone is 70Kg and is drinking 2 beers which are 5% each ( each beer 250ml ), is there a way to know what will be his alcohol % in his body after lets say 1 hour?
