in the past 2 months I've had 2 bottles of rum & a bottle of seagram's turn to slush after having used them for a few days. Obviously, I keep my liquor in the freezer, and after a couple of days (maybe 6-8 drinks made) there has been quite a bit of ice (almost slush) form in the bottles. There's nobody in my house that would be able to put water in them except for my husband (but he drinks out of them also, so why would he?). With the 1st bottle this happened to after 2 or 3 days of being slush it all the sudden "defrosted" & was normal again...Can your freezer get cold enough to freeze 80 proof alcohol? I know this sounds like a stupid question, but in my 13 or so years of drinking I've only had alcohol freeze 1 time after my little sis drank some & then refilled with water.
