I was wondering how I go about applying at a bar, when I don't have much experience. I do know a lot about drinks though. I have worked a bar/restaurant but I didn't bartend. I don't want to be a waitress, just a shot-girl to make extra money a couple nights a week. How should I go about it?

Come into the bar dressed appropriately for what kind of place it is. Super cute, a little sexy (not sleazy) and a bit professional. Don't play the dumb act because most managers see right through it. Show initiative, not desperation. Hopefully you have a great work history and references to back this up. Show your ambition and willingness to learn. A great attitude is necessary for getting into this business. Smile, relax, ask questions, charm them. You'll do great in this industry.

Go to a bar/club that u frequent and inquire within; its usually a requrement that you're a smokin' hottie. You don't have to dress slutty when you are on an inteview, and the bars usually provide a slutty uniform of some sort.

Go to busy clubs and inquire about that. Most clubs hire shot girls with out any experience.
