I crushed the mint with four teaspoons of sugar, added a pint of soda water and four measures of white rum and served over ice. It just tastes a lot more boring than I remember when I had it in Miami. Should I have made it with a darker rum? Did I miss an ingredient out? Did I get the quantities wrong? Or do Mojitos just taste better by a pool in Miami than in my kitchen in England?

I love drinking beer but don't honestly think it tastes that great. Would we drink it as liquid refreshment if we didn't get that great drunken, I can take on the world and win feeling.

I got drunk for the first time last night and I'm paying for it now. Thank god my head doesn't hurt at all...probably because of all the water I drank. But what can I do for my stomach? Is bread and water the best thing?

Also...should I try to go to sleep or will it be worse when I wake up. None of my friends have drank before so I can't ask them...help??

Hi im going on vacation in a few days and I know ill probably be drinking and partying at night but then still have to be up at a decent hour and do things during the day. I have a tendency to get a bad hangover after a night of drinking so Id really like to try and prevent this.

Anyone know of anything to do before bed or before you drink or whatever that may help prevent a hang over and if that doesnt work any ways to cure it in the morning?
