Oh yeah. You would be surprised. I know a lot of guys who only drink hard alcohol because beer ends up costing them too much, but the rest of their lifestyle is really healthy(work out, diet, etc) and they still have beer bellies.

Yes they do have calories...it depends on the liquor in question. Something like GoldSlager (sp) has more due to the sugar content compared to a clear Vodka or Gin.

Take Kaluha or Bailey's...they are considered hard alcohol compared to beer or a Mike's. But the calorie and carb content is much higher because of the cream and sugar.

Yes, a lot. Calories is a measurement of energy. Alcohol has a lot of energy (hence the reason it is flammable).
