Singles & Dating - 4 March 2007

I dont want to get into the whole deal, but my gf and i have had nothing but problems since last year. With been on and off alot since that time. Sleeing around during those times when we broke up, have made things horrible. Mostly on her side, in fact she slept around within a week after out first intial brak up. The fact of the matter is, that now we can't go a day without an arguement. Im tired, and have been very interested in other people. I think i still love her, but not nearly as much as i should. Should i break up with her and how should i go about doing it?

OK, I know that the easiest way is to tell a girl that you like them, but for reasons that i don't really care to explain, I CAN'T tell her
We are pretty good friends, and i don't know how to discern friendly with flirting

I went to a hockey game yesterday, and as soon as i got there, she ran over and found me and told me i had to sit with her and her friends. When she and one of her friends went to get food, she got me an extra spoon so i could eat some of her malt. She let me eat it while she was eating too
Also, when I was flirting with her at the game, her mom took a picture of us two and another time when she hugged me her mom was there and she smiled big. Would she tell her mom about me if she liked me?
She is always nice to me, and laughs at almost everything i say, whether i am trying to be funny or not. I've been told that i am hilarious by many people, but she laughs more than everyone else combined.
She seems to always try and get me to laugh and tells me everything

Question to the ladies: would it be considered unmasculine for guy to give a girl he likes a card that has really nice artwork on it, but also has a lot of flower illustrations (but not necessarily illustrated to project a romantic image) on it? Or would this kind of card be considered too feminine for a guy to give at all?

So the other night, I hang out with a good friend. We end up meeting up at a lounge and he introduces me to one of his friends. I ended up hitting it off pretty well with this woman. She was attractive, smart, had a great sense of humor and we had similar personalities. While I was talking to her I was a little worried my friend might be into her, but later on that night I found out from him that she was not really his type. The only thing that holds me back a little from pursuing her is that she is 33 and I am 25. My friend is 30 by the way. When I was talking to her she actually seemed a bit disappointed I was 25. Part of me doesn't care, but part of me does. I feel like I've just started adulthood, she's well into it. It is a little intimadating. I talked to another really good friend about it and he gave me typical guy advice, he basically told me to go for it just for the sex. I wish I could just care about sex, but I'm really too nice of a guy for that. I need help.

My girlfriend lives half an hour away, and I hardly ever get to see her. I've tried messaging her, calling her, calling her and leaving messages, IMing her, emailing her, and contacting her in any way that I can, but she never responds....I message her, and even though she is signed in, she never responds...and then she will sign out later without saying a word. She never calls me back, doesn't reply to my emails or messages, etc. This has been going on for a full week. Is it safe to assume that she is mad at me?

I'm in high school and I like to talk to guys a lot, I feel comfortable and relaxed around them. Guys like to confide in me sometimes and they seem to always tell me about their love life and why isn't this working and what should I do, things like that. Why do they do this? It doesn't make me feel uncomfortable, it just makes me wonder if they see me as a girl or as a guy! None of my female friends have this problem. Guys also don't have any problems telling me the crudest things you can imagine. I have an older brother, so I have accepted that guys think perversely a lot, so I usually don't mind when guys say this stuff, asking my advice or point of view, but is that a turn-off? Should I act horrified when they say this?

OK so there's this girl, I'll call her "Maria". I met Maria a while back..we were best friends..then we started dating. We dated for around seven months before we broke up. It's been on and off ever since..we broke up the "final" time around 2 weeks ago...the problem is when we aren't together, she acts way different, like she likes me when we aren't together, and when we are together she doesn't seem to like me as much. Is it because the feeling only comes back when she knows she can't have me or what? Hi ladies, i don't know if this is nonsense but i have heard and read before many times that a girl can tell whether she is going to sleep with a guy within around 15 seconds of meeting him. By this i don't mean she will sleep with him in 15 seconds (haha) or even any time soon thereafter but just generally when a girl meets a guy, she knows instantaneously whether she would sleep with him.

Is this complete rubbish or is there some truth to this theory?

When you meet a guy for the first time even if its just a friend relationship initially, do you know in your mind whether that guy would be the kind of person you would sleep with at some point (just by the instant attraction) and likewise for guys you wouldn't touch with a barge pole haha

I said hi to my boyfriend when he was right next to me within 1 foot, and he didn`t even react T.T... I don`t want to break up yet, he`s my first boyfriend. I want to work something out before turning to break up. We`ve been going out since 2 weeks before V-day, and he`s a really shy guy, and I`m really shy, too. Our friends always make us sit together and hug, but he hasn`t willingly done that himself yet. alright, i might have a problem deciding which one to date as a 11th grader:

-a 24 year old teacher who talks to me alot
-a 12th grader who grew up with me, rarely see her, but she always asked for me to visit her
-an 11th grade girl who speaks a diff language than i do, see her everyday
-another 11th grade girl who talks to me alot and we have alot in common, but her parents (my teachers) wont let her date, i see her once a week
-an 9th grade girl who i dont see anymore
-a 8th grader who i see every week
-a 7th grader i sometimes talk to but see everyday

So which one/ ones are good choice, which ones are bad?

I have a "special guy friend" at college. He's 22. We have a "comfortable" relationship, as mostly "just friends," but I've been feeling lately like I'd want so much more. I've only ever hinted, but this boy doesn't really take hints well- he's what most would classify as a "geek," but I love him to death. I probably read into things too much, but a while back I had a bit of a weak moment and I kissed him, just a little kiss. Online I spoke to him, told him I loved him, and he typed me a ;-)

Sounds like I'm reading into things a bit? Or not? Is it just friends? Or does he maybe have a few feelings for me? Or are we all just confused?! Help!!
