NO!!!! There's too much room for conflicts of interest. After the student is no longer the student, go for it. In the meantime, keep it platonic.

In business, we say never poop where you eat. That same expectation applies here. It's not worth the misunderstandings, animosity or discomfort that may occur if the relationships ends before the semester does.

Good luck,

I think it is fine but only if the kid is out of the teachers class. If not, I dont think it is right. It could send the wrong message because you are flirting and going out with your teacher, people would say your doing it for the grade. If I were in the situation I would wait untill I finish the class, and then start the relationship. But I guess if your in love with them, you wouldnt care what other people think.

If the student is under 18 it is a crime and the teacher can go to prison. If the student is over 18 the teacher may lose his or her carreer. Why some think it's worth the risk is beyond me.

Hello,

This is OK, if both are of same age.. nothing is wrong in that.
In any case True Love will always lust..

If either one is just thinking abt keeping physical relationship, then it is unfair with the opposite person and its better to revel the fact.
Hiding truth will impact a lot.

All the best :o)

Nope. Never. The teacher has a responsibility to remain in a position of authority, for he has to give the student a grade in the end. If it's not the grade the student wants, he or she can always claim sexual harassment, etc...

No, it`ll disturb the teacher from teaching, student from learning. If they met under any other circumstances, that`ll be ok. But a teacher and student, bad idea.

I wouldnt say it is better because when it comes to grades things can be switched around a bit in an unfair way sometimes...but other then that...well they should also try to keep a low profile if they are going out because people can get upset.
