Hi ladies, i don't know if this is nonsense but i have heard and read before many times that a girl can tell whether she is going to sleep with a guy within around 15 seconds of meeting him. By this i don't mean she will sleep with him in 15 seconds (haha) or even any time soon thereafter but just generally when a girl meets a guy, she knows instantaneously whether she would sleep with him.

Is this complete rubbish or is there some truth to this theory?

When you meet a guy for the first time even if its just a friend relationship initially, do you know in your mind whether that guy would be the kind of person you would sleep with at some point (just by the instant attraction) and likewise for guys you wouldn't touch with a barge pole haha

Yes. For me, that's true. There are certain things I notice about men almost instantly...I think it's a subconscious thing, because I don't realize I'm doing it at the time. But now that I think back on it, my first impressions of "sexiness" or lack thereof in regards to a man I've just met have always been dead on and never changed. But it's not just their look I scrutinize right away, you can judge a character pretty accurately by the way they carry themselves.

It's rubbish, no truth to it at all. But I am not the type of woman who sleeps around either. As for me, I don't know until the moment presents itself. Usually I don't think about it when I first meet someone.

We as people generally tend to make our first decisions about liking someone very quickly - usually in the first few minutes. As for deciding to sleep with someone...not sure about that. I have leapt into bed a couple of times with guys I hardly knew, but for the most part, I'm a slow burner. i need to get to like someone brfore I make that decision. I knew my current partner for a year before we started dating - but on our first date I decided I would sleep with him.

it usually starts with one word in your head "hello"
That's usually how I know.
It's not always like that though.
I have a huge crush on someone right now, and although I knew I liked him - it wasn't untill a gay fiend of mine admitted to liking him, and I agreed at the time thinking no more of it...but since a huge crush has spun off...strange, but not always in 15 seconds...but def after you have spent ten minutes talking you know whether you would get your kit off or not.
Some times when we go against our type it takes longer - but thats usually a nice surprise when its about the person and not instant lust.

yeah Id have to agree with that statment - its like initial attraction kind of thing - however I wouldnt rule out sleeping with a guy that I got to know over time even if I didnt have that immediate wow reaction on meeting him..

I know at hello!! Doesn't mean I'll sleep with them the same night but I know what direction I want to take the relationship in.

I'd say for me it takes five minutes of conversation to know. Whether or not it actually happens is a completely different story.

definatley, i can think of a very clear example. it took a few months before we did sleep together but we did, i actually said to him i knew that we would end up having sex and he felt the same, he wasnt the love of my life or anything but there definatlye was sexual / physical attraction immediatley
