I am madly in love. The woman I love knows I have feelings for her (I have never used the L word with her) but does not feel the same way. I can accept this (though that wouldnt make me give up hope) but the problem is that she feels awkward around me, and she has anxiety issues, which means she now feels the need to avoid me. However, we have to see each other and interact (in a group) at least 2 or 3 times a week, and we share the same friends. This makes the situation extremely painful for both of us. I have tried to talk with her and see if we could find a solution, but she thinks avoidance is the answer. But I dont think it is possible, and that we must deal with the underlying issue of the awkwardness. We cant escape each other, ignoring each other doesnt work, and I can't solve the problem without her help. She doesnt want to deal with it directly, and seems to think (she rarely says what she really thinks) that it's all a way for me to win her over. Any advice or am I doomed?
