Singles & Dating - 7 February 2007

I'm fed up today. I know somebody who I thought only liked me in a friend kind of way. He's a nice looking boy and sweet. I just liked him as a friend too though. He im-ed me a few days ago and just started saying all these really lovely things to me, like I was gorgeous and he finds me really attractive....it started making me feel more for him, like I would like to take further. I wish he never said anything to me because now he is just ignoring me, he doesn't im me back anynmore if I say Hi and logs off straght away! grr! He's made me feel all these things for him now that never even came into my head before and now I can't stop thinking about him. It's obvious he doesn't really like me or he wouldn't be ignoring me! men eh! how can I get him out of my head??

Basically, I need to break up with my b/f and I feel like I should do it today because I told him I needed to talk to him on Monday (two days ago) but I said I'd rather not talk about it on the phone and tell him what it is the next time I see him. The thing is, I can't see him today and I don't want to drag this out any longer.

I don't want to do it over the phone, but is that the only option I have? Please, please, please help - I've never felt so irritated (that I can't see him face to face) and nauseous before.

I really like this girl, and she knows I like her. Sometimes I think she likes me too because she talks to me and smiles. But then again, she's the very flirty type so I really can't tell. I'm going to give her a poem on Valentine's Day, so she knows how I REALLY feel, but if nothing happens after that, how can I move on? I see her everyday, and when I do try to ignore her sometimes, she talks to me again, and the process repeats itself.

i like one of my guy freinds but i don't know how he feels. sometimes he really cares what i think and he always seems to come to me when he is scared. He also finds ways for me to spend time with him but never really has anything to say or do. Also whenever we go places and i don't hang out with him it is like he is having redrawl symptoms or something and everytime he sees me he has to talk to me but if i try and hang out with him sometimes it is like im not there. Now all of the sudden he is dating his ex again. she can't stand me!!! everytime she is with him and he talks to me she pupously makes him leave or acts like im not there.

I have recently become interested in a colleague who is a Manager of a department I only occassionaly come into contact with. We got closer after a conversation which resulted in us comparing reasons for why we ended our last relationships - turns out we both left because we simply fell out of love and it didn't feel right anymore. Over the past few weeks we have come into contact more than usual due to a project I am assisting on, but this will only be for a couple more weeks. On these occassions we talk work then quickly move onto other things, which always feels nice and always involves us smiling, laughing and (I can only speak for myself here) feeling as though I want to spend hours finding out more about him. I am not 100% confident he sees me in the same light, although twice now when we've parted he'd come very close - almost kissing. I would love to spend time with him, but how do I approach the subject? Please advise, as I am so unconfident about the next step.

I understand that there are a multitude of reasons for cheating (both male and female) and it is never right in any case. However, since women generally cheat due to emotional needs not being met, is it over? Even if they come back and want to be together she now has had the "thrill" of cheating and more than likely found someone who meets those emotional needs. So the chances of a woman cheating again are high, thus do you believe it would be over?

there is this one girl i like i really think she likes me. she is always talking in a low voice saying nice stuff. asking for help with things... i have been getting alittle to close... i mean close enough to grab her boob which i did... it was funny she didnt even notice at first.... she thought that was funny... we poked each other on the sides...but idk if she really likes me thats the hard part i got her phone number and i gave her mine... and lately i have been noticing that she has been kindof sad because of her friends... i asked what was wrong and stuff she told me and i didnt know what to say... that i need some advice... i also think she likes another person.... i have been talking to her as much as i can but she has only made one or two convosations with me which i think is sad. when i have made probley 250 (thats a guess ok ) so.... what can i do to help my problem... should i just ask her out if so i am kind of nervous
