So my ex dumped me two months ago. When she dumped me she said that she really hoped we could be friends and still talk and email. I am not sure if she said that to be nice or really meant it, but I told her that I could not be friends becuase I needed time to get over her. I knew if I did try to be friends with her right after the break up, it would be really awkward and we would wind up hating eachother. So anyway I have not talked to her in two months and her 30th bday is coming up. I am over her completely, but I was wondering if it would be a good idea just to send a quick txt message wishing her a happy 30th birthday?

I have feelings for this girl... We've known each other for several years. She is on and off again with this other guy for the past 2 years. During the off times we do stuff and have a good time together. When I ask her where things are at with this relationship with this other guy, she just says it is "complicated" and nothing further. He treats her terrible and her parents even told him that he doesn't deserve their daughter. Now I hear that she is going on a weekend getaway with him, but when I ask her what she is doing this weekend she just says she is going away with some friends. She doesn't even tell me that she is doing stuff with him! Is she just trying not to hurt me or what's the deal? I'm open to anyone's comments/advice on the situation.

I should also mention that after her parents told him that he didn't deserve her he has been calling her constantly. She overlooks the fact that they had to tell him to do stuff with her and call her.

There's this girl in band (im in band also) and she's also in my European History class. I sort of feel like im in one of those Daytime Dramas, where one day you really don't like someone, but then the next day your suddenly attracted to her? Well, we talk a lot, and today she came up to me in the hall and started like pulling a fake fight with me and talking to me and stuff. After that, she came up to me after school when I was practicing, and she said I was playing really good, she stopped in just because she heard me playing. Also, she seems to like me, but she sort of flirts with other guys sometimes too. Do you think I should just ask her or is she just playing with me?

I came to U.S about 3 years ago when I had a boyfriend in India with whom i had 3 yr relationship. I was not happy with him. He was a nice person but I had started feeling he was taking me for granted and neglecting me. I used be very upset because of this as I really did love him and wanted to marry him. On the other hand in US i getting to be very good friends with this guy in my class. Over period of time he started showing keen interest in me but he wasnt aware that i had a boyfriend. In the midst of all the emotional trauma that i was going thru, i told him about my bf and he supported me a lot. At the same time, i got admission in another school and had to move. He was very upset to see me go. But we even after i moved away from him, he was always there for me on phone whenever i needed him. He has been a great friend for me. In the meantime, my bf realized his mistake and apologized and wanted me back but i had started liking my friend but didnt want to be in a relationship.

My boyfriend and i haven't been together for very long. He has already met my mom and my niece. But i haven't met any of his family. Which isn't a problem because i know i will in time. Despite the fact that i have never met his mom, she doesn't like me. We are both 18. When we first started talking, he showed her my pic and she said i was cute, but since i've been dating him she has given him a midnight curfew (he's never had a curfew before) and given him a time limit as to how long he can talk to me. (she pays his cell phone bill and says he can only talk after nine. But also has to get off at 10) He even told me that she doesn't like me. I can understand that this is her only son/ only child. But i dont think it's fair for her to judge me without even makin an effort to get to know me. Do you have any ideas as to how i can make this situation easier?

hes in one of my classes he was in 2 but he switched out of 1
when he was in the other class too tho, he would act a little nicer to me than to some other people
a few days ago i noticed him looking at me
and him watching me go out the door after class cause i walked by him (but i didnt on purpose i didnt even know until i saw sum1 looking right at me! lol!)
sometimes he looks at me when i am walking
how do i know if he likes me
BUT
i dont want to go up and say do you like me cause that may scare him away haha
and i also dont want to ask him out
and i am kinda a little shy
so what should i do that wouldnt be too obvious that i like him or what signs would he give me if he did like me

I have had my heart broken several times, and I am scared to take another chance, but I introduced my friend to this guy, and they hooked up. Now he had a cousin he wants to meet me. We have talked on the phone several times, talking about everything and falling asleep at night on the phone together. He seems to be sweet and sincere. wow, so i have this friend who interests me a lot. shes really cute and i have gotten really close to her since the beginning of the school year. when i always talk to her she listens attentively and smiles back. i asked her out once n she said that she was interested in going with me but only as friends. she broke up with a guy over the summer and is sorta recovering. she is sweet n shy but i have no clue how she did what she did today. she flirts with me sometimes but never did what she did today. in religion class, we went to the chapel n i was sitting next to my 2 friends and this girl was sitting one empty seat to the left with a friend (guy) but they dont "like" each other like that. n she was scratching his back with her fingernails n outa the corner of my eye i see her staring at me as if she wanted me to c her doin this. is she tryin to make me jealous? i tried to play it off like i really didnt notice. what is her deal? does she want me? or does she just want attention.

he's not just any guy, he's my boyfriend. we have a 3 hour distant relationship. he's one of those tough guys that don't like to be around people when they cry ( he walked out of the room a couple times when i cried..) and does not talk about how he feels about me. i know we shouldn't have to ask..we should just know right? that's what my friends say.we've been going out for 9 months now.. but for the last 4 months we saw each other less because i had to move away for school.he is also in the military and will be transferred somewhere else in about 7 months.i'm growing to love him more and more..and i do not know how to approach him about it. i really want to talk to him about our future and if he can see us going anywhere and he replies with "i'm not a psychic".true.i just dont know if i should step away from this before it gets really hard later.i want to talk to him, but his responses arent really helpful.i told him awhile back"you know i love you rught?" and he said "gimme somtime"

Me and my boyfriend have been together for almost two years and he has just stopped being romantci all together. I dont understand it. The first couple of months I never had to open a single door or worry about being cold or paying for anything so what happened? Is it because he has become comfortable in the realtionship and he feels that stuff isnt neccesary because he has "won me over"? Will I ever see the old him again? My BF and I of 2.5 yrs broke up. No bitter feelings. We are both happier with ourselves. We live together, and are continuing to do so, even though we're not together anymore. Do you think this could work? We are co-habiting quite nicely, and are fairly good friends. I don't want to get my hopes up, but he never said no to trying to work things out. He never said yes either. What would you suggest?
