A humunculous is an imaginary "being," per se...it's a representation of some aspect of the human being in a visual format. If you were to make a sensory humunculous, it would be a drawing of a person whose features are big if there is a lot of feeling in them or small if there isn't. I'm guessing you mean humongous though, which means really big. Ask HER if it's a compliment or not, we can't know that.

1. an artificially made dwarf, supposedly produced in a flask by an alchemist.
2. a fully formed, miniature human body believed, according to some medical theories of the 16th and 17th centuries, to be contained in the spermatozoon.
3. a diminutive human being.
4. the human fetus.

What size is it? If it is big, then homunculus probably means humangous. If it is small, then it is probably said sarcastically. If yours is big, take is as a complement.

(laughs) Yes. A homonculus in ancient alchemic theory was a tiny, full-formed person that supposedly lived inside each sperm cell, and today means something false and/or very small. So yes, you should be offended.

Maybe she meant to say "humongous" which as we all know means enormous.

Let me leave you with the immortal lines from "Young Frankenstein"

"Zen he vould have an enormous schvanstooker."

"That goes without saying."

"He's going to be very popular."
