have you ever thought that someone you saw on the street or in a restaurant was super hot. and you keep staring at them and you dont know what to be but your afaid you will never see them again but you are also afaid that he/she will think your weird asking them for there email or number?

ok i have this tech ed teacher and i am pretty sure he is a perv. he is always flurting with the girls and calls on this one girl all the time. i have to ask him a question about my work in his class. So my ex just broke up with her bf a couple of weeks ago and I wanted to start hanging out/be friends again. Our break up was on good terms and we remained friends (just not hanging out type). Im not going to lie, I miss her. I want to start hanging out again and take things farther. How can I go about doing this? Would just calling out of nowhere (like tonight) and seeing what shes up to/if she wants to go play minigolf (or whatever) seem like "oh he so wants me back" to her? This first "hangout session" just feels like the big "first impression" all over again to me.

I know she's my ex and yes part of me thinks Im crazy for trying, but the other half of me thinks I'd be crazy not to try.

And honestly (unless Im doing it wrong) just "asking" her to start dating again and telling her how I feel doesn't work.

Ok, here's the story:

I am a highschool Sophomore. I have been getting a really good vibe from this girl at school (for the sake of this question let's just call her Jane). Every day we're almost late for class because we're always talking in the halls. I was thinking about asking her to a semi-formal dance at our school. She is in no way out of my league. I was on the bus to school planning to make a move that very day. On the bus ride to school one of my best friends (this particular friend just so happens to be Jane's cousin!) tells me that Jane agreed to go to the dance with another friend of mine (we'll call him John). Now I really hate to toot my own horn but I truly am MUCH better looking, MUCH smarter, and MUCH nicer to Jane that John has ever been. I had no idea that John was even remotely interested in Jane. I really want to go out with Jane, and the only thing standing in my way is her current date. I don't think I value John's friendship so much as to give up on Jane.

Today I was talking to this lady I'm sort of friends with. I had told her I went on a blind date. So she was asking me about it. I said he never called it's been a week. Then I said I really didn't care because there was not chemistry for him. So then she said maybe he felt the same way. I mean is this kind of insulting. I had not chemistry because I wasn't attracted to him. Is she trying to say he wasn't attracted to me. If that's the case that's kind of mean. I would never tell someone that.

So, I give this girl a sonnet and she doesn't reply. I try and move on, forget about the whole thing. But after 3 days of not saying anything she bumps into me sometimes as if expecting me to to say something or I catch her looking at me in class maybe trying to chatch me staring at her. She slinks away in my Hist. Class towards her friend as if she doesn't want to be near me. I just gave her a sonnet and didn't commit a crime. Please tell me how to make a clear break of the matter? Any advice would be welcome.

I am fed up of all this 'all men are the same' attitude by women because they have had a few bad examples with past boyfriends of whatever!!

I am not what you call a 'typical bloke' and I can say this to MANY guys I know.

I have asked women what a 'typical man' is... and no one has responded with a valid answer. Maybe people here can help me.

Ok here goes. There is a guy I like, and today I found out he likes me 2. I also know he was only going 2 ask me 2 the dance if the other girl he asked says no. Is he worth it?
