Just be yourself. Don't worry about what to say or do - let it come naturally. If you're afraid to head straight out into the real world try a little cyber dating first to boost your confidence. Join an online dating service. You probably won't find your soulmate on Match.com but you can certainly use the site to get reacclimated to the dating scene. Then there's eharmony which is for people who are a little more serious. The best way though is to meet someone in the real world. Someone you run into and just feel that spark. Join a gym or participate in activies where you might meet men. If you're going to do volunteer work choose something like Habitat for Humanity - lots of guys there and they can't be all that bad if they're volunteering themselves.

First of all my condolences, I would go out and get a hobby and that way you will meet someone with your same interest and you will be having a good time in the process. When you meet them you can talk about the hobby at first and move on from there. Good luck.

There are lots of people out there just waiting to meet you. Why not find a group of people who you share an interest with? A photography club? A square dance club? Volunteer at the hospital? Music? Birdwatching? Hiking? Lawn Bowling? Find something you like and mingle! Bet you find lots of folks around who like your company.

It sounds like you are now ready to pursue a relationship with someone. What you have been through was very tough. Just be yourself. Start to get out more socially. You will find someone. Don't rush it.

first, you hopefully are ready to find someone new. its ok to still keep a place i your heart for your old flame as long as you have space for someone new.
second. how did you meet your late partner. use the ssame formula.
also go out more, join a sporting club, go do dance classes (great way to meet peopel too), learn how to flirt, how to chat up guys (dating resources on the internet), go to the gym, stsrt dressing up, go out with girls friends

Just be yourself... Don't try to be someone you are not.. Don't put yourself in a place you are not comfortable... Try joining some clubs that you can meet new people... Or go on some singles outings..... Check with your local newpapers on things going on in your area....

You are probably old.. Hang out at the cemetary. There are other old widowers there you could meet and get it on with in the cemetary...

get out there and get your feet wet. Join a club or volunteer somewhere. Or join a singles club, dancing club, talk on line. Its better than sitting home alone. Also read books on it there is plenty out there your not alone
