he can't come and see me and I told him he needs a better job or he need to quit some after work projects.. was this wrong?.. he never has the money to come see me or court me ...but wants to.. I feel that if he wants all these nice things then he need a higher paying job... plus he has and i have kids... so much goes to them.. so hard to do it all?

basically i met a girl a year ago and we both fell instantly for each other-she went to the local jr high and i went to the high school-she wanted to wait until she started at the high school before we started going out and i agreed-however when the school year started she totally lost those feelings for me and fell for my best friend and they started going out-i was so hurt that it almost tore us apart. luckily my friend and I made peace and they eventually broke up. i still have feelings for her and she continues to pester me about not talking to her--ladies what is her deal? should i even bother to attempt to talk to her again? she said we'll never be anything more than friends yet she doesn't want to loose me as a friend yet she flirts with me ALL the time.

Ok, I have been best friends with this guy since we were both real young. We are around each other every day. He stays at my house all the time and I stay at his all the time. We always even sleep in the same bed together all the time and we have never even thought about touching one another. Until two days ago that is....... We had a party at my house and a bunch of people were there and after everyone left we went to bed together as usual. But this time wasn't as usual. We got to talking and playing and one thing led to another and we had sex. Now I don't even know how to be around him. We haven't talked since that night. So here is my highschool life story.
I'm in the tenth grade now and just started I've never had a boyfriend and I've never been kissed. Ther is someone in school that I like but at the same time I don't. I'm cunfused. I don't know how to flirt and I don't know how to make a move and I don't know how to tell if he likes me. I'm not geek or one of the popular people. I'm a floater. I get along with all sorts of people. But resently all my friends have been getting into the boyfriend and girlfriend scene. My life long best friend who is almost 16 goes out with someone 20 years old. But i'm stuck in this world and I don't know what to do. I DO want a boyfriend even though the chances of it lasting all my life are minimum.
What should I do?

Intelligence is the reason humans are where they are today. Without intelligence, we wouldn't have all this technology and great living conditions. Since intelligence is obviously a very good trait to have, why is it not considered more attractive?

It seems like people are more concerned with other traits. Physically fitness, facial characteristics, and societal standing play larger roles. Are these really more important?

Okay, here's the deal. A really good friend of mine is totally in love with me, but I don't feel the same way towards him AT ALL. I told him I don't want a b/f in High School, and he said he'd respect my wishes. He keeps hinting bout his feelings towards me, though, and the hints aren't exactly 'subtle'. He writes poems about me, and lets me read 'em, he has a secret blog about me that I found BY SEARCHING MY NAME, and he just gave me a cd w/tons of love songs on it. It's kinda freaky, and I want it to stop. But I'm afraid to just tell him, cuz every time I do things are akward between us for a while. I don't want to hurt him, but he needs to STOP!!
