he can't come and see me and I told him he needs a better job or he need to quit some after work projects.. was this wrong?.. he never has the money to come see me or court me ...but wants to.. I feel that if he wants all these nice things then he need a higher paying job... plus he has and i have kids... so much goes to them.. so hard to do it all?

So he likes nice things but doesn't really have the money to afford them and please you? Why don't you go and see him? are you that high maintainance, or that shallow that he has to be the one doing all the work in a relationship? Does he need to spend money to win you over? Maybe he likes to have nice things because he defines his worth by them and needs the approval of others. Maybe you define your worth be how much people spend on you and do for you......
You two are perfect for each other. But if you seriously want this to work, you need to make an effort. You need to go see him sometimes, and not ask him to change much more than you are willing to yourself......

Face it , having a rich lifestyle & having money are not always the same thing. Even with kids if he really wanted to see you he would come up with a way. Be careful who you give your heart to. People are not always what they say. You could have this guy checked out just to be on the safe side. Be safe & good luck.
