Okay, here's the deal. A really good friend of mine is totally in love with me, but I don't feel the same way towards him AT ALL. I told him I don't want a b/f in High School, and he said he'd respect my wishes. He keeps hinting bout his feelings towards me, though, and the hints aren't exactly 'subtle'. He writes poems about me, and lets me read 'em, he has a secret blog about me that I found BY SEARCHING MY NAME, and he just gave me a cd w/tons of love songs on it. It's kinda freaky, and I want it to stop. But I'm afraid to just tell him, cuz every time I do things are akward between us for a while. I don't want to hurt him, but he needs to STOP!! Help me please!!!

Oh, and do you think I should tell him I know about his blog? I just want him to stop! I have told him before, and for about 2 months it was okay, but lately.... :(

if its getting this bad you should just tell him.
becasue whats going to happen next... you will fall for some guy and u might want to date him and he sees that and he will freak! and who knows what hes capable of doing to you and or the guy. so just end it now, sometimes u have to hurt someones feelings but hun thats just life

You need to stop talking to him. Make print outs of the blogs,Do not accept anything from him.I was stalked, and it gets worse before it goes away.
If he keeps it up, get a restraining order. Use the blogs as evidence. Don't worry about hurting him, because he may eventually hurt you. Stay away from him. That is a clear signal you do not want a relationship. What you have done to this point is kept him hanging.

The best you can do is to tell him how you truly feel. but dont be suprised if you miss it after it stops. dont dont string him along. You might hurt his feelings yes but if he respects you as a person then he will get over it. if it dosnt stop and it turns into more than you can handle get protection from court. luck to you I had the problem once before. He found out where I lived and stalked my house knocked on my window followed me when I went somewhere. He even showed up at the phoenix Zoo when my family went together. He wrote poetry wrote me songs paintings. He accused my parents of keeping me from him. Slit all of my tires after I said no to him for prom. Called 28 times in a row after I refused to pick up. He tried buying me things to make me like him. So yeah it can go down hill pretty quick.

that is not called stalking .that is obsesion
write to his blog as a third person,
if the anonimity makes you feel more safe ,
and point out that his love is in vain.
maybe you secretely like this atention ,the thrill
of being desired
it helps if you are honest with yourself to start of with.
if you really wanted it to stop ,you would not be concerned about hurting him

If you really want it to stop you will have a long talk with him explaining that you just want to be friends with him and if would please stop all the extra stuff. And if he dose not you have to hurt him and let him know that it freaks you out when he does things like that.

Document everything he does...
Tell him if he doesn't stop, you will call the police
DO NOT be nice about saying this, ebcause he only hears what he wants to hear. So in no uncertain terms say "STOP THIS OR I WILL CALL THE POLICE, YOU ARE STALKING ME"
And then call the police and file a PPO against him

You don't want things to get awkward?? Sounds like they are for you already. Don't let him make you feel that way. There is no other way around it. You are going to have to tell him in no uncertain terms. STOP!!!

if he is older than you, and you are still in HS, write him a letter explaining how you feel. then mail it from the post office with a 'signature confirmation'. but first make a copy of it. if he ever calls you back, or writes you, or whatever, if you see him, call the cops. don't play around with this if he makes you feel uncomfortable.

you need to tell him that it's making you feel uncomfortable. If cares 4 you, then he should do what makes you happy. You don't want it to go any further, stalkers friends or not, can get scarier.

tell him how you fell about what he is doing and tell him to stop it or you can not be friends any more and if he truly likes you he should stop just so he can be around you.
