Singles & Dating - 4 August 2006

I have a serious question to ask, I must admit I am a little embarrassed because I NEVER thought I would even consider this or think about it but....I'm just wondering how many women are contemplating or considering going bi or starting a relationship with another woman? BECAUSE they have been so unlucky in love with men or are still grieving over a lost relationship....they are fed up with trying to make things work with men, are sick of the games....etc. etc.... The problem is I am 36 yrs. old...have never been bi, I do think other women are beautiful, so I am attracted to the same sex..but I have a teenage son and under no circumstances do I want to set a bad example....I'm just looking for someone to love me and accept me for who I am....just wondering if there ARE other "scared" women out there...thinking of the same things?? If the person you are with put on 50lb tomorrow would you still love them? If they were 30 years older, false teeth, wrinkles etc would you still love them?

Is it just their decorative/outer appearance that attracts you or who they are? Or a combination of both?

If I let it happen too soon, he'll think I always have sex quickly- but I'm REALLY attracted to him & that's why I wanna do it. Also, if I initiate it, that could either turn him on or he'll think I'm easy. Should I just wait for him to get to it?

I see this come up a lot (no pun intended). "should I seduce him?" "what can I do to get him to like me?" "how soon should we have sex?" etc. And why do people think they can "make" someone have feelings for them? Why would they want to? I have my own theories, but I want to see what other people think...

There was this girl I met a few weeks back and we already came to the point where we exchange "I love you's". However, she still insists that we aren't together because there is this other guy who is also deeply in love with her. When I confronted her about this and I told her to choose, she said she can't because she wants things to remain the same. It's just so unfair in my opinion because here I am giving my all to her while she selfishly doesn't want to choose because she enjoys both of us. What do you do when the girl you love loves 2 guys? Is she just toying with me or is it that she really just can't decide? A lot of guys also fall for her and she doesn't tell them off. Does she enjoy it when guys fall head over heels for her and courts her? Is that the reason why she doesn't want to commit? I just feel she's keeping me as back-up in case it doesn't work out with the other guy or even worse, just being played for a fool. Should I just let go or should I continue being patient?
