I found out today that the person I have been best friends with and not so secretely in love with has been going out with someone for a week. I know why she didn't tell me as she knows i still care about her alot, but it really hurt having to find the way I did.. (i mean, a week!!) what makes things really complicated is that we work together often (play in a string quartet) and will be going away for a year next year with this group. I am trying to be as proffesional as possible about it, but it's really difficult.. she knows that this guy is just a "well, he's here for a few months, let's make something happen" kind of guy. I started smoking again because of this (i did get a sick satisfaction asking her for a ciggie after i found out... she obliged with a facial expression of "oh crap, what have i done?") Not only am i heartbroken, but i'm losing my best friend... what do i do?

I am a 21 year old female. I have never played hard to get and have always gotten in a relationship with a guy and given him everything from the start. Needless to say, i was never a challenge and the relationships never lasted. how do i play hard to get and get the guy to like me more and more without him losing interest in me. i always thought the guy would lose interest so i never tried it. and how long do i play hard to get? when i do accept a date, how far should i go on the first date? like should i make out on the first date? i would like to learn how to play hard to get without losing the guys interest.

January 1st- Got up, ate, slept.
January 2nd- Went skydivin.
January 3rd- Had my body cast put on.
January 4th- Bout a mastercard.
January 5th- Priceless!

None of that really happened but if it did id still get 2 keep tha mastercard. Just dont 4get no matter how bad ur day is, theres always 2 morrow.

i am always the first to text him but he never texts me first

he doesnt greet me first in the office

he ignores me when im in the office

im 10 years older than him and i hold a higher positon in the office,

im a lawyer he is an engineer but we dont work in the same department

when i told him he looks nice clean shaven, he shaved

when i asked him to smile at me coz i didnt see him smile, he looked at me once intentionally and gave me that smile

when he said he would text me later, he forgets by telling me he fell asleep

when i text him and asked how he was he asks if im recovered from my fever already and asked if i drank medicines

when i asked him to text me when he gets home from drinking, he texted me and bid me sleepwell

when i asked how much for driving lessons he told me that he would just teach me to drive

he texted me take care once or twice

my officemate caught him smiling while reading my text to him
