well! my friend it depends...the meaning changes accordingly...to me in a broader sense Love means No Ego...love is the opposite of ego...when ur in love with some body then u dont have ego infront him/her... and loves means many other things...who knows all of them...only the one who's in love... :)

Love is a very deep emotion of varying complexities and levels. There are different kinds of love, but the "soulmate" love or the love I refer to as "in love" love, has the main values as other types of love do.
There is trust between the two "soulmates", equality, and respect. Each soulmate allows the other to grow mentally, physically, verbally, and spiritually and never limits them. Each person respects the other giving them freedom without doubt. They are able to be open with each other and communicate with each other if they wish however they want to. The relationship is not unhealthy for either partner, and no partner is limited in the relationship. The insecurities of one partner do not hold the other partner back. The partners truly care about each other and are prepared to be selfless and place the other partner's needs over their insecurities. Neither partner is a threat to the other. Their needs and wants can co-exist peacefully, and through troubled times they are able eventually to resolve them how they wish. They truly wish for happiness in their partner's life, even though sometimes they cannot be with the person they love. That does not mean not feeling sad when they see their "soulmate" with somebody, but not letting their sadness limit the other person.

Love is just being in the presence of that one person and feeling as though you are complete. Love is looking into their eyes and seeing what it is you want to wake up to every morning. Love is seeing them at their best and knowing they are your world, and seeing them at their worst and realizing they are your universe. Love is appreciating the tiniest of quirks that they have. Love is still feeling that pulling sensation in your chest, and the butterflies in your stomach when you share a kiss, even after you've been sharing those kisses for many years. Love is just being near them, and every trouble, every pain, every depressing nature, becomes like nothing, as long as you are in their arms. Love is knowing every flaw in them, and knowing without a doubt that you wouldn't want it any other way. Love is getting through every bump in the road, but still maintaining your relationship with flying colors. Love is beautiful, love is kindness, love is safety. Love is a feeling to cherish.

To me it is simple .To me it is all about the Savoir and his life in which he gave.

its when u feel caring too much for someone, each of his/her acts impact you, and ofcourse expectations! but if the other person does not loves u back, do not expect at all. bcoz u ll never get what u want and u ll always suffer. and if the other person also loves u u will get all without any expectations. so take care, one sided love is just like dying each day!
