Singles & Dating - 19 June 2006

My girlfriend is very depressed and tells me her parents treat her horribly however from her close family friend, a mutual friend or ours, her parents are nothing like that and her source for that is my gf older brother. I want to do things to help her be happy but when I ask her what she wants to do she tells me she doesnt care and when i ask her what she does for fun she tells me "nothing, I dont really know what I do for fun" She has no motivation to do anything and never makes any suggestions as to what we can do together. Any help or ideas of what to do that might make her happy would help thanx

what to do when a girl said no when i proposed her..but i know she likes me..but not showing up because of family restrictions...how do i get the true answer from her..feels like living in hell...please help me out..we have been friends for 6 months and after my proposal she said "no"..and also put forth that she did'nt expect anything like that from me..but i'am damn sure she likes me still..but not showing up..not picking my call..not replying to my SMS's and even not repying my mail..wat can i do..anyone help me ...please..

Is it just me or do most guys that are met from online websites want to go out for the first date and then they seem to loose interest and don't really ask for a second?

I always try to be outgoing and friendly when I meet people, but I'm having trouble finding girls. I'm the type that is shy at first but can be a really good companion once other people know me better. I would say I'm not bad looking and I dress pretty well. I'm a foreigner and I'm not caucasian. Is this because of race? People always say no, but I think it's just a politically correct answer.

I told this girl I liked her in April but she just looked down and smiled. But she didn't say anything. I haven't seen her since. I recently emailed her and she still replied. I told her I will visit her hometown next month and she says she welcomes me.

Do you think there is any chance this girl likes me? Or she just wants to be polite and be my friend? If she doesn't like me, wouldn't she be freaked out about me liking her?

Why are men so shallow? I'm kinda overweight, but not too much, and most people tell me I'm pretty. But, because I'm not a size 6, most men don't pay much attention to me. Why don't men realize that to have a good relationship, they need more than looks?! Please explain this to me!

I am 25 years old, 6'5, 340lbs and berfore you say oh my god what a fat pig; know that most think i am barely 250lbs am I over weight yes but realisticly not by much. Anyhow I have brown hair wich i keep in a high and tight flat top or military cut. I have green eyes with a mustash and gotee, i have been told by many I have a baby face, Yet I have a very intimadating dieminor. Now the question; Based on these facts alone, If I approached you in a bar, club store or wherever, would you be intrested in getting to know me. Is the first impression truley the make or break deal for a realationship. Has or diminishing society made us all so shallow that all of our relationships are based on looks alone and is this why the divorce rate is at an all time high and progressivly increases every day???????
