Why are men so shallow? I'm kinda overweight, but not too much, and most people tell me I'm pretty. But, because I'm not a size 6, most men don't pay much attention to me. Why don't men realize that to have a good relationship, they need more than looks?! Please explain this to me!

People say that it is important to not judge the inside by its cover but u can't hepl it the first impression always counts!
Its always look first, then get to know you unless you are really friendly with them and know them well!

I would have to say that this is a two way street. I am over weight, I am told not bad looking, yet most of the women I have met are looking for those 6 pack abs, and the hard body. I would have to agree with some of the other answers, don't give up, there is someone out there that isn't so shallow that they judge everything by looks and nothing else. Good luck in your search.

I think most of us look for more but I also think physical compatibility has to be there. To say that being homely makes you nicer and better in relationship is saying that all thinner women are shallow sorry not true. Known some very shallow thin women but also known some raving battle axes in size 14. What really turns me off are women who whine about their size thin/fat don't matter they all do it. It's a major turn off. You want respected and loved for something other then your size and shape show me those qualities. All size sixes aren't shallow and all size 11's aren't smart and deep what can I do if only fall for pants a certain size. Works both ways want a confident guy be a confident female and don't spend your time being jealous of another womans body type, total turn off.

I'm not a guy but I really wanted to say I feel the same way
sometimes.I have been w/ my boyfriend for 5 years.after the
first 2, I got pregnant and put on a little weight but I just can't
get it off.Sometimes I'm afraid my boyfriend doesn't like it.But
so far we are still together.And you know I have caught guys
looking at me.You just need to glam up some.Put on a sexy face
and strut.You will get attention sooner or later.Give it some
time and have confidence.

Its not all the men are like this I think maybe ur a bit unlucky that u met those ppl who only look for physical appearance being good.

well i guess u met wrong guys till now
i am almost good looking i was in modeling too
but still i like to be with chubby gals
its my choice the shuld be chubby so teh guy can enjoy more by holding her in there arms
but i dont know why this guys love to back of thin gals while having sex u can c each and every bone of that lady
keep looking for guys like me u will get some one
