Singles & Dating - 16 June 2006

Well, I have held down relationships before and I had H*** with it because when it was spose to be 50/50...I was the one with it all on my shoulders...Then I went single and celebate for 2 years...Had a good job and a raise and a promotion on the way...I was a pen pal to this soldier and that was all I wanted it to be and then something made me just fall for him...IDK what it was but it was nice...

Then I gave him a chance...I took on his past, present, and future...Now and I did have before my suspicions about him...I think he is trickin' with his ex who used him for money and f'ed up his credit and I have been here helping him restore his life and help him...

I am sooo confused right now...His mom has been acting funny lately and so has he...Like he never wanted me...And all of it was lies...I know no one can really help me but I still have this pulling at my brain and my heart...Is he straying?...Did they have a child?...Are they getting back together?...What have I done?

So, we have been together for 7 years, both of us have felt this way at one point or another but we have never broken it off completely. there has been true love here the kind you may never find in a million years of searching. She decided that she loves me, but is no longer in love. We still talk everyday and see eachother once in awhile, the friendship is there (even though i hate it) but there is no initimacy. I did nothing and she agrees, what do i do? walking away is not an option

I have met several guys online and most of them have been very nice but a little geeky or strange. Nothing dangerous or criminal but just embarrassingly strange or odd. The guys that I have met that seem nice and normal either were no into me or I wasn't into them. However whenever I have met a married man for other reasons, they are attractive, normal acting , successful, and just fit a normal mold. Why is it so hard to find a normal man who is attractive and that is interested in dating me and is single?

It's simple - but not really. I met a girl thursday in class, we hit it off instantly, she gave me her number and told me "You have my number, make sure you call me!"

So my roommates go through my phone last night and send her a text message (without my permission) that says: butts*x - naturally I'm EXTREMELY angry.

So I go to class today and she seems cheery and fine, says she didn't even mind. So we talk all class, make each other laugh, just have a good time. Then she drops the bomb says: "My bf lives up by so-and-so pub" and Im thinking to myself: ok... um now what

So we leave class and I walk her to her car and shes telling me how he works a couple hours out of the city and can only come back so often... I kind of just let it roll off me, not saying much about it - then as she was leaving I asked her if she wanted me to call her on Sunday and she said "Definatly, make sure you do" and she gives me this innocent smile...

So what do I do... go after her or not?
